Turning the Tides

10 June, 4pm

Alibi Brewing Co. and Waiheke Distilling Co. invite local hospitality talent to take on this year’s theme, Turning the Tide.

Now in its third year, the competition returns to Alibi Brewers Lounge for an afternoon of creativity, flavour and local talent.

Entrants will create an original cocktail using the Waiheke Distilling Co. range, including 12 Tides Vodka, with judging based on flavour, balance, presentation, originality and connection to the theme.

This year’s judging panel includes Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas, Anaru Skipper from Waiheke Distilling Co. and Fernando Gru, Independent Cocktail Expert.

Spirit & Cocktail Masterclasses

The Alibi Winter Cocktail & Spirit Masterclasses return to the Private Dining Room for a six part series.
Running once monthly from May through October.
Each session takes you somewhere different, from whisky and rum through to agave, grape spirits and classic cocktails. Expect five guided tastings, a welcome drink, and something to nibble on as you settle in.
Relaxed, social and always good value.
$50 per session
