Guided by the collective expertise and passion of our brewing team, we specialise in a full range of New World, hop-forward styles. OUR WINE
Nestled beneath one of Waiheke Island’s most renowned vineyards, Alibi Brewing Co. is uniquely positioned in the heart of this stunning wine-growing region. Tantalus Estate, with its eight hectares of free-draining sandy soil, sits atop weathered clay and rock, providing the ideal conditions to cultivate exceptional wines. The vineyard’s focus is on crafting dense, complex Bordeaux and Rhône-style reds that have the potential to age gracefully, offering wine enthusiasts a truly refined experience.
With wines crafted by our talented winemaker Alex Perez, we’re proud to offer a remarkable selection that celebrates the depth and diversity of the island’s terroir. From the delicate, fruit-driven flavours of our Sauvignon Blanc to the structured complexity of our flagship reds, each glass tells a story of this remarkable land.

Led by our talented Bar Manager Sam, whose extensive experience in the cocktail competition circuit has infused our bar with a wealth of creativity and flair, our cocktails are a true reflection of his passion for exploration.
Sam’s approach to mixology is all about pushing the boundaries – experimenting with unexpected ingredients and bold flavour profiles. Each drink is crafted to be a little off the wall, yet always packed with depth and character. Drawing inspiration from local ingredients, Sam ensures that every cocktail not only showcases the unique flavours of Waiheke Island but also highlights the bounty of our estate. From the zesty lemons used in our house-made limoncello to the estate honey crafted by our very own bees, we’re proud to incorporate the best of what’s grown and produced right here.
