First Catch your Weka

Continuing on from our latest delve into New Zealand hopped beers comes this flightless and fuzzy NZ Pale Pale. Brewed with a blend of NZ grown malts and thickened with oats, wheat and a glutenous amount of rolled spelt for that “standing spoon” imagery. This beer was entirely hopped with two blends from Hop Revolution hop growers; Hop Revolution and Turkey’s Pick, containing only imaginable amounts of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Pacific Sunrise and Riwaka, Moutere.

Lemon & Paeroa, passionfruit and damp punga trunks. Inner-suburb grapefruit with shreds of Lemon Sisters from Glendene. Full like a fuzzy wuzzy flightless bird (Beer does not contain Weka.)
